   I've just been diagnosed with hpv and it was my awakening...the uncounted times I've had sex without a condom are coming back to me and I feel disgusted. I wish I used protection but its too late for shudda cudda wuddas...

I've done some research...my gyno says there's a cure but I'm not sure if she was referring to the warts or the hpv virus itself...online research is also confusing cuz some say the virus can b cured and others say otherwise..they also say that the virus is sometimes cleared on its own by our immunity system but im scared mine is weak because im a smoker and it would take time befoe I can quit.

Is there any way at all that the hpv virus can disappear?

	I haven't heard about a cure for HPV, both low risk and high risk. But smoking makes any STD much worse, meaning smokers will more likely have more genital warts than someone who doesn't smoke.

	I know I have to quit but it will take time...I hope I get through this easily and I also hope ill bcome strong enough to fight off the virus..

	My friend had high risk hpv that can cause cervical cancer...She smokes weed everyday and drinks heavily...Her immune system is ok, but she does get sick often...Well her Paps are all good now a year and a half later she found out her body had cleared it...now she is going back every 6 months to make sure shes totally okay because she doesnt believe it just cleared on its own,but the evidence is that she is fine and she didnt change her lifestyle. Okay, Im lying she cut back on drinking a bit,but I just found out I have low risk genital warts and my immune system is better than hers. I got it after I lost my virginity last january and like a year ago i noticed bumps...I went in and was told that they were skin tags....well now i have more and just found out its hpv...so if she was able to fight off the virus im confident we will be too,..and trry not to stress because that shuts down your immune system...and i know im having a mental breakdown these days...but i know so many people who have had it and cleared it so stay positive..i know im trying.
