The human papilloma virus commonly known as (HPV) is the most common sexually transmitted type of diseases that is prevalent in the United states. The CDC department puts the infection rate at 20 million people being infected with HPV.

Majority of the people affected with HPV are people in their late teens and early 20s. the viral infection is so prevalent that the CDC has put the infection rate at 50% of all sexually active men and women will get affected at some stage in their life.

If you educate yourself about HPV infection pattern you shall know how to avoid getting infected by the disease and seek treatment if you have suffered from the viral infection. HPV virus is transmitted via vaginal, anal and even oral intercourse. If your skin rubs with that of another person who has HPV, you are likely to suffer from the infection. The virus infection is too minimal and you will not notice if you have HPV infection because the symptoms do not appear.

HPV can go away on its own in some instances. The body’s immune system is the main HPV infection fighter, it eliminates the infection slowly, steadily and for lucky people within a period of two years the HPV infection will be totally wiped off.HPV
