Genital Warts Treatment : Skin tag remover vs Wartamine?

    Author: Zombie
Subject: Skin tag remover vs Wartamine?
Posted: 17May2012 at 7:13pm

Hi Guys,

I know this isnt the intro section so I will be brief. About 6 months ago I found a few bumps on my shaft (base area), nothing serious. I honestly thought it was a skin tag. I ended up cutting them off, For the most part they didnt come back.

About a month ago another one came up that was a little bigger, and I was thinking it could be worts, so I made a doc apt, and I was right. Warts!

I got Aldara and I have used 3 times, all days in a row. I have noticed no change, and I have not felt any burning with the cream. I know it takes time, but I want them gone NOW. I only have 1 wart that is of any size, and a couple that are very small and not easy to see.

So my question is this: I can see the aldara needs time to work. I heard good things about wartamine and figured it might be worth a try. I also heard people using the dr scholls skin tag remover. Which would be faster?

I was thinking I could use one of these products and then put the aldara on whatever is left.

Also since I am new to this, correct me if I am wrong here but is it the warts themselves that are contagious or basically your whole 'groin' area? I would assume if there are no warts, then you cant give it to your partner.

I have been with my gf for 2 years, faithfully, and I am just getting them now. And of course, she doesnt have them. I am sure she must have the virus by now, but I want to make sure I dont make anything worse.

I know this post is a little all over the place, but any answers would help.

Please welcome another member to the crappy club of HPV. :(

Share Your HPV Story : The realization that I had GW

    Author: Rippa787
Subject: The realization that I had GW
Posted: 17May2012 at 1:53pm

Hi I'm new to the forum, I'm 17 years old (not far from 18) and I wanted some advice from you guys.
I'd always noticed a few bumps around the top of the shaft of my penis and had always questioned what they were. I would brush it off thinking they were nothing and seeing as I'd never seen anything similar in my sex education classes at school, I assumed they were harmless marks. I still carried this trail of thought until very recently. I noticed that these bumps had spread across more of my penis and decided to try and find out what they were online. When I typed in 'HPV' to Google images as soon as I saw the first photo my heart stopped, I knew this was what I had.

I've only had sex once and it was unprotected (I was wasted and the girl is a bit of a slut). I know for a fact I had these bumps before I lost my virginity but is it possible that they were worsened from the time I had sex?
My problem now is how I am going to deal with this. It's stressing me out so much and it's slowly taking over my life. Without sounding arrogant, I'm a good looking guy so picking up girls has never been difficult but now I feel like I've lost my game cause I'm scared of what would happen if she saw the bumps. I know I need to go to a clinic but it's not that simple for me, the nearest one is about 40mins away and is only open certain times (I am in full time work). Any advice or thoughts you guys could give me would be much appreciated as I haven't told a soul about this. Thank you!
